I have invited someone to the extranet. How do I give them permission to see things?
Go to the Account Management module and click on Display All Users. Locate the newly invited person and select Edit next to their name. Scroll down to the Security section and click on the tab associated with the module you want to give access to.
For example, if you would like the new user to have access to a specific document collection.
- Navigate to the Security section as explained above, then click on Documents.
- Check the box next to Allow Access. This will allow the user to see the Documents module, however, they won’t see anything inside the module yet.
- Next, decide what level of ability you would like the new user to have in the Documents module and check the appropriate checkboxes under Roles.
- Now you’re ready to grant access to the specific collection. Under the Roles box, click on the tab named after the document collection you want to grant access to, which will open a Groups section. Check the box next to any groups you would like to include the new user in. As long as that group continues to have permission to the collection, then so do the people in the group.
